Spring Collection

It’s time to shift gears from Winter to Spring with so many welcoming beauty trends! Although there were lots of fun eccentric looks on the runway, the most appealing aspect of this Spring’s top trends is its wearability.

Spa skin is in! Almost every designer featured a minimal golden glow skin tone.  Gone are the days that highlighter was only applied to the cheekbones. Makeup artists for Jason Wu, Victoria Beckham and Pucci to mention a few, laid it on thick.

The skin almost looked wet with highlighter covering most of the face. Blush very subtle in color with lots of dew and sparkle. Finish the skin with a Glam of your choice. Pro tip: use a denser blush brush instead of the fan brush for a fuller application.

The shiny look did not stop with the skin. Lip gloss has made a major comeback. Designers Tory Burch and Alexander Wang had their models wearing nude and shiny pouts. Naeem Kahn opted for an opaque wine colored gloss, which is a bit high maintenance but a great option for the evening.

Here’s how to achieve this look:

Start with Lit Highlighter. This multi-functional product not only illuminates the skin, but it is loaded with skincare benefits. Hyaluronic acid hydrates the skin while Emu oil gives it rejuvenation. Apply this miracle product all over your face with clean finger tips. Then apply GIELLA BB cream right over. Apply a small amount of Satin Rose to the cheeks and sweep outward towards the temples.

For the eyes start with Magnetic Eye and dust highlighter (M Glam, EYE M GLAM, Rose Glam, Strobe) over the brow bone. Use some translucent powder to set your eyelids (this also stops the eyeliner from transferring). Line your upper and lower lash and water line with Jet Black or Deep Brown eyeliner. Then take the coordinating eyeshadow either Dismal or Truffle and use #4 angle brush to smudge out the line. Blend out the liner until you reach your desired drama. Complete the sultry eye with some mascara and brush up your brows with some brow set.

Outline your pout with smooth lips. This product is essential to keeping your lip look intact. Try Pinkberry lipstick or glide Undress lipstick on. Finish the nude lip with Flossy lip gloss. If you’re looking for a stunning evening look or just feel daring try Burgundy lip pencil with Cardinal opaque lip gloss over. Complete the look with nail polish in Blooming.
