or tinted moisturizer); Cuticle Oil with Grapeseed and Kukui oil
Favorite Beauty Tip:Keep it simple, recognize how much (or little)
time you have and choose the right products. Select products that you are going
to use and not sit in your drawer. Remember, beauty starts from within. When you
feel glamorous and confident and pretty inside, makeup simply lands in the perfect
place on your face, eyes, cheeks, lips and nails. Be "beautiful" for you, and only
you.
Favorite Beauty Tool:Of course, Brush #6... a must have!

Creative Influence:Each client has an individual beauty of their own.
This individual beauty sparks my creativity.
Favorite GIELLA Product:Cover Release. It gives fabulous coverage for
flawless looking skin without looking like you have a face full of foundation and
concealer on. This product is truly one of the cosmetic industry's best kept secret.
Favorite Beauty Tip:Always use a highlighter (GIELLA's Beaming) above
the cheek bone to accentuate the natural bone structure of the face. It also makes
the skin look extra hydrated which is always a youthful look.
Favorite Beauty Tool:Eye lash curler accompanied by GIELLA's Ebony
mascara to create that glamorous, sultry eye. It truly brings the eyes to life!

asking me why a certain shadow looks different on them from when I put it on them.
They never blend well enough and trust me, it makes a world of difference!

Creative Influence:My inspiration depends on the individual characteristics
of the canvas in front of me. Whether it be a celebrity walking the red carpet,
a supermodel strutting the runway, a career woman at the office, or a soccer mom
at the grocery store, I thrive on making a woman look and feel gorgeous. My versatility
is limitless, as I specialize in everything from a soft and flawless look to a dramatic,
glamorous, red carpet visage. To me, the essence of beautiful make-up encompasses
this entire spectrum of beauty -- from delicate to elegant.
Favorite GIELLA Product:So many of GIELLA's products are my
favorite, so I have to tell you about two of them. I LOVE GIELLA'S custom
blended tinted moisturizer because I can manage how much coverage I put into it
depending on my client. I use it all over the face and it gives a beautiful, subtle,
youthful glow to the skin. My other favorite GIELLA must-have necessity is the cover
release. This is a cover-up which can also be custom blended in your shade. It has
an amazing, soft texture that doesn't sit dry on your skin and it never creeps
into fine lines around the eyes. My suggestion to every woman "don't
leave home without it!"
Favorite Beauty Tip:Many of my clients ask me to give them smoky eyes
that will last throughout the day and night. I do this look often for photo shoots.
First, I apply magnetic eye (a primer for the eye lids) over the eyelids, then I
dust some translucent powder over it. Next, I custom-blend a cream eye shadow and
pat it from the lashes to the crease of the eye. On top of that, I use a custom
accent powder (pure pigments) with a shadow brush. Afterwards, I line the upper
lid with a custom liquid liner (usually the darkest color) and blend it with a brush
into the shadows. If I'm going for a cat eye, I blend upward and outward.
Next, I rim the eyes (both top and bottom) with a black pencil and smudge it into
the lower lashes. Lastly, I curl the lashes and layer on black mascara. This look
is dramatic, sexy, and gives any woman confidence and a commanding presence amongst
her peers.
Favorite Beauty Tool:Of my favorite beauty tools are the Shu Uemura
eyelash curler; it gives you a beautiful rounded lash, and the GIELLA buffer brush
# 11. I use this fluffy brush to dust loose powder and bronzer on the face, neck
and shoulders. The handle is very short, making it easy to travel with too!

Creative Influence:Nature. It captures and appeases all of your senses.
It's the color of hydrangeas in the Spring or the colors of leaves changing in the Fall.
Favorite GIELLA Product:Without a doubt, Beaming Highlighter. There is
no other product in the world like it. It makes any face luminous and dewy.
Favorite Beauty Tip:When applying makeup always start with eyes first.
Eyeshadow, eyeliner and mascara have tendencies to fall on your face and make a mess
when applied. So save time and product by applying your foundation afterwards.
Favorite Beauty Tool:My # 10 GIELLA brush. You can use this brush for
everything from concealer to eyeshadow. It's a synthetic brush so it glides easily and
distributes the right amount of color on to your skin.

Favorite Beauty Tip:Always use a blush for a finished makeup look.
Powder only on the T-zone to keep the shine away and cheek areas glowing.
Also, use lip liner all over the lips for a defined look; and a great primer for red lipsticks.
Favorite Beauty Tool:Lip brush creating the most desirable lips.

Creative Influence:I get most of my creative influence from the person I’m working with. Most of the time I find that a person is born with natural beauty that leaves clues as to what colors to work with. For instance, I have noticed that some people have a natural, but very faint purple line underneath their bottom eye lash line. Instead of always covering that up with black eyeliner, I will make the line more intense with a purple shadow. It looks so natural and just makes the eyes pop. I also like to think of the colors in terms of a painting and the face in terms of sculpting. I use colors most people would not think for themselves but in a subtle way. I also pull some of my creativity from nature, and interior design.
Favorite GIELLA Product:People know that Giella’s foundations are amazing mineral foundations but what some people don’t know is that they can be used as an add-on to your skincare routine as well. Most woman put on foundation or tinted moisturizer everyday with out even thinking otherwise. The foundations start oil-free but we are able to put all these amazing natural oils into the foundations and tinted moisturizers for the added benefits of antioxident power as well as just the amazing moisture that helps to fight aging of the skin in the long run. I have a skincare back round and I believe that the natural ingredients of the earth are the best way to help any problem. We also have a very potent form of anti-oxidant called Amblica that can be added as well. This is proven to in time diminish the look of age spots and wrinkles.
Favorite Beauty Tip: My favorite Giella beauty tip is to use the Brow Gel. I feel the first step to looking well put-together is shaped and groomed brows. It is much more youthful to have fuller brows, and with one coat of the brow gel they look perfectly groomed. The tinted brow gels are amazing for matching your brow color to look more like your hair color and covering up grey hairs. If you don’t want to use the tinted ones, we make the best clear brow gel. I have used others that dry and become obvious, but I like that this one is completely transparent.
Favorite Beauty Tool:Giella’s foundation brush. I use one for foundation and one for cream blush.

Creative Influence:I am inspired by the way today’s fashion is reflected in cosmetics: fresh and modern. My ability to create the perfect look for my clients allows them to feel more beautiful and confident on any occasion from the red carpet to driving children in a car-pool.
Favorite GIELLA Product:The Cover Release concealer. It’s so convenient for touch-ups. I use it with my finger on-the-go and with a brush for more precise results. Another must-have is lip gloss and kukui oil in the color: color and treatment in one; as well as being super shiny.
Favorite Beauty Tip:Always keep your brows well groomed and use cover release under the eye. A perfectly arched brow actually lifts the entire face and a great concealer can hide of multitude of sins.
Favorite Beauty Tool:Brush # 6 : Eye Contour It allows me to contour and blend with one brush!

Creative Influence:Art has always been a part of my life. Observing Color and how it transpires from Nature into our Lives of Fashion, Food and Design is a constant creative influence.
Favorite GIELLA Product:It is the Concept of GIELLA custom blend cosmetics. When a product, whether it is a lipstick, eyeshadow or foundation is custom blended just for you and has the perfect balance of color and texture, there is no doubt it becomes a personal favorite.
Favorite Beauty Tip:Remember your face is your canvas, by evening out skintones with the perfect shade and coverage of foundation, along with concealer and magnetic eye (a primer for the eyelids), your face will be ready for color to bring out your eyes and lips. When applying and blending color, always use a circular motion to achieve a beautiful soft finish.
Favorite Beauty Tool:Brush #6, it’s like two eyeshadow brushes in one. The flat side is great for applying highlighter or all over color to the eyelids and the tip is perfect for circular blending color together.
